  • Total duration is a composite 60 minutes.
  • The test is held in major regional languages, except the English Language section, which is in English.
  • Negative marking: This detail is not mentioned in the official notification.
  • There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual sections. The minimum aggregate marks will be decided by the bank. SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates get a 5% relaxation on the minimum aggregate percentage.
  • The merit list is prepared State/UT-wise and category-wise. A tie at the cut-off is broken by age, with the older candidate ranked higher. A wait list will also be prepared. Scores from multiple sessions, if held, will be normalised using the equi-percentile method.

Local Language Test

Candidates who fail the LLPT will not be engaged. Candidates who produce an 8th, 10th or 12th standard mark sheet or certificate showing they studied the specified local language of that State/UT are exempt from the language test. The LLPT is held at a centre in the State/UT applied for, at the candidate’s own expense.

District Preference

Candidates choose three districts of the applied State/UT. The bank allots districts as per availability and at its discretion. By default, a candidate gets first preference in the merit list of the district where he or she resides on the date of application. Choosing a district does not give any right to be placed there.
